A Vietnam Coast Guard ship is searching for the Casa 212 on June 23
According to the Vietnamese Government Portal, the news has been reported to Deputy PM Trinh Dinh Dung, head of the National Committee for Search and Rescue who joined rescue work at the site.

Dung has asked the rescue team to quickly retrieve the engine which located about 60 metres below the surface at about 15 nautical miles South-East of the Bach Long Vy Island, and expand the search area for other parts of the plane and the crew.
The rescue team also found a body floating in that area, but they doubt it is a crew member of the Casa. The body is being identified.
The Casa 212 carrying nine flight crew crashed on June 16 near the Bach Long Vy Island while searching for the pilot of a missing Su-30 Mk2 fighter jet. The crew members are still missing.
