The heatwave has been felt from yesterday with blazing hot sunshine, especially in the afternoon with temperatures ranging from 33-36 degrees.

The heat wave will increase by 2-3 degrees in temperature and cover a wide area of the north from tomorrow and may last for three to five days, the centre said.

Meanwhile, the central region has been struggling with the severe hot weather over the past few days with highest temperatures rising to over 38 degrees. This weather is forecast to last for some more days.
