US President Barack Obama will visit the Jade Emperor Pagoda that was built over hundred years ago when he arrives in Ho Chi Minh City on May 24.

The Jade Emperor Pagoda, also known as Phuoc Hai or Da Kao Pagoda, was built in 1892 on Mai Thi Luu Street in District 1. The pagoda was recognised as a national architecture heritage site in 1994.
President Obama arrived in Hanoi on May 22 and will leave for Ho Chi Minh City on May 24. After visiting the pagoda, the president will meet with firms, young business people and members of the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative.

The number of visitors to the pagoda has increased in recent days
