Two small sisters in Nam Dinh Province are in need of financial support to continue education after the deaths of both of their parents.
Diu and Hien's parents died from leukaemia
Pham Thi Hoang Diu is in 6th grade and her sister, Pham Thi Thu Hien, is in 3rd grade. They have lost both of their parents to leukaemia.
Bui Ngoc Bien, head of Phu Cuong Village said, "Their father died in 2008. At that time, the youngest sister was only a few months old so their mother had struggled to raise both children."

In 2014, Diu and Hien's mother was also diagnosed with leukaemia and died next year. Since then, the two sisters have been living with their grandparents. Their daily lives now depend on small rice field. However, due to old age, their grandparents cannot do much hard work.
Diu and Hien's wish is to continue going to school as their parents had told them. Good clothes and meals are considered a luxury that the two sisters do not think about.
"Mother said we must have bachelor degrees to find good jobs and take care of our grandparents. They're gone but they're still here with us," Diu said to his sister.
