To enter summer vacation 2016, the national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines and budget airline Vietjet Air have recently launched promotions with special fares for passengers. |

Under Vietnam Airlines’ programme, one-way tickets for domestic flights are priced between VND199,000 and VND799,000. Meanwhile, return tickets for international flights are being sold between VND209,000 and VND9,199,000 (around US$9-999). The promotion prices are open to passengers who book tickets from March 18-27 and travel from April 1 to October 31. Tickets can be booked via https://www.vietnamairlines.com/vi/sites/Chao-He-2016 or Vietnam Airlines booking offices nationwide. For the launch of the new route connecting Ho Chi Minh City and Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Vietjet Air will provide 250,000 tickets, starting at zero dong, on March 16, 17 and 18. The promotion is applicable to all international routes from Ho Chi Minh City to Kuala Lumpur, Seoul, Taipei, Singapore, Bangkok and Yangon and from Hanoi to Seoul and Bangkok at www.vietjetair.com (excluding holidays). The Ho Chi Minh City-Kuala Lumpur route will be put into operation on June 1, 2016 and will operate daily, taking one hour 55 minutes. The flight will take off at 9:30 from Tan Son Nhat International Airport and at 13:00 from Kuala Lumpur. |
