A man from Hanoi who is dying from rectal cancer is calling for help to support his three small children.
Nguyen Viet Thuy
Nguyen Viet Thuy is in the last stage of cancer and is bedridden. In order to cope with the pain, he is often given a strong dose of morphine. Thuy's mother also passed away recently because of rectal cancer.
"It was such shocking news. I was fine then suddenly the pain appeared and weakened me. Doctors said right away that I had cancer. I was so upset. I'm afraid of dying because my children are still too small," Thuy said.

Thuy's oldest child is in seventh grade while the youngest is just two years old. Thuy said his youngest child was too young to understand the illness and was scared of him whenever he saw his swollen belly.
Nguyen Thi Hanh, Thuy's wife, has borrowed millions of VND for his hospital treatment. However, she cannot find proper work because she has to take care of Thuy and the children.
Doctors have said they cannot do anything else for Thuy and his only wish is that his wife and children can be supported when he dies.
