
Spring Fair 2016 features various local specialties.
The fair features nearly 1,000 indoor booths and around 5,000 square metres of outdoor space.
Notably, on display are various specialties from numerous localities including Tan Cuong tea, Ham Yen orange, Hoa Loc sweet mango (in the Mekong Delta province of Tien Giang), Cao Lanh mango (Dong Thap), green peel pomelo in Tay Ninh, Nam Roi pomelo and Ben Tre coconut candy.In addition, a wide variety of aquatic and sea products such as fish sauce from Phu Quoc, Nha Trang, Phan Thiet and Cat Hai, as well as hundreds of food items from the three regions of the country are being showcased at the fair.
Visitors to the fair will also be introduced to various handicrafts from trade villages, including wooden products, crockery, bamboo products and aloes wood.
Numerous kinds of flowers and bonsais from many localities, including apricot blossom, peach blossom and orchids are being displayed at the spring fair.
During this year’s event, visitors, particularly children, will have a chance to experience folk games and traditional toys, significantly contributing to preservation of national culture.
The 2016 Spring Fair will last through February 5.
