The tour group arrived at the island on January 12 for a six-day trip, but 56 of the 155 Vietnamese left the group.

Jeju immigration officials found 28 of the missing tourists between January 13 and 16. They are believed to have used the tour as a ruse to illegally look for work in South Korea.
