Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner lands at Noi Bai Airport

Vietnam Airlines is the first carrier in Asia to have both the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner and Airbus A350-900 XWB, the most advanced passenger jets in service.

Vietnam Airlines signed a deal to buy 19 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners and 14 Airbus A350-900 XWB to expand and upgrade its aircraft as well as bringing in more ground service for passengers. All aircraft will be delivered by early 2019.

Vietnam Airlines put its new Dreamliner on the Hanoi-HCM City route August 4. It will begin Hanoi/HCM City to London Heathrow services in September.

The second Dreamliner is expected to reach Vietnam on August 10.
