Hanoi to host M&A Vietnam Forum 2015

Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Vietnam Forum 2015 organising board announced at a July 16 press conference that the event is scheduled to take place on  August 6.  

This year’s forum is expected to attract hundreds of local and international speakers from the M&A field, as well as nearly 3,000 foreign and domestic business leaders.

In his speech, Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Editor in Chief of the Investment Newspaper, who is also the head of the organizing board highlighted M & A activities as an attractive investment channel have and an important tool supporting businesses and restructuring the economy in a healthy and effective manner, thus improving the competitiveness of the national economy and businesses.

In a letter of congratulation sent to the forum, Minister of Planning and Investment Bui Quang Vinh said the event has been previously successful for six consecutive years, adding that this year’s forum will create a open  dialogue for businesses and investors to share experience and connect investment opportunities.

On the occasion, the Investment Newspaper is set to publish a “Vietnam M&A Outlook 2015” in both Vietnamese and English languages to provide businesses with information on specific  laws, policies and investment opportunities related to M&A.
