The occasion is expected to attract more than 4,500 people to the capital and approximately 15,000 tourists to the southern hub.
It will revive the authentic atmosphere of the original Munich festival in Vietnam, connecting the two peoples and cultures.
Ho Chi Minh City will run the event at the Windsor Plaza Hotel from October 8-10 and from October 14-17, while Hanoi will mount it at the JW Marriott Hotel from October 22-24.

Oktoberfest is organised annually by the German Business Association (GBA) under the sponsorship of the Germany Embassy in Hanoi and German Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City.
The Oktoberfest is the world's largest beer-festivalheld annually in Munich, Bavaria, Germany with a history of 205 years. It is a 16-day festival running from late September to the first weekend in October with more than 6 million people from around the world attending the event every year.
In recent years it has been a tradition for German communities to celebrate Oktoberfest all over the world.
