Vietnam set to host first Belly Dance competition

The first Vietnam Belly Dance Festival Competition is to take place at the SC VivoCity Shopping Mall in Ho Chi Minh City on July 11-12.

The event open to all amateur and professional dancers, is expected to attract more than 70 foreign and local contestants who will be competing in both solo and team events.

The competition will host three famous artists who will make up the board of judges: Angella Kim from Republic of Korea, Julia Torgonska of Ukraine,  and Daila Klara Jansikova from Czech Republic.

The winner of the professional solo category will be granted a ‘Full Package Workshops’ scholarship and have a chance to attend Festival Munique Neith 2015 slated for Penang, Malaysia on July 18th.
