A high school boy in central Nghe An Province is in desperate need of help to support his paralysed mother and father .
Nguyen Trung Nhat, 18, cares for his mother, who two years ago fell off the scaffold at a construction site, causing her to be paralysed, and his farther, who became paralysed after a cerebral infarction. Nhat is the sole breadwinner for the family.

His mother is bedridden and cannot speak, and relatives care for her.
“Despite opening her eyes, she does not understand who is talking to her. She has to use a medical tube to take food. I wish she could say one word to me”, Nhat said.
All assets of the family have been sold to save the mother, but her situation has not improved. After Nhat’s mother was ill, his father had to try to work harder to support the family and then one day, he had a cerebral infarction, rendering the left side of his body paralysed.
Nhat thought about quitting school, but his father would not let him, saying he needed to study to make a better future for himself.
Le Van Binh said Nhat’s father needs long-term treatment if he is to recover, but the treatment is expensive.
Every day, Nhat gets up early to help his mother and then goes to hospital to help his father, before heading off to school.
