State President Truong Tan Sang is to make a State visit to Cambodia on December 23-24 at the invitation of Cambodian King Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni. Vietnam is currently Cambodia's fifth biggest investor, pouring more than US$3 billion into 129 projects, principally rubber, fertiliser, health care, banking, aviation and telecommunications.
Bilateral trade growth averages nearly 30% per year (2009-2014). In January-October, the total export-import value reached US$ 2.6 billion and the figure is predicted to hit US$ 3.5 billion this year.
The two nation are set to elevate two-way trade to US$5 billion by 2015.
