Two young children in Quang Nam Province are in desperate need of financial help to continue their life and studies after their parents died in a traffic accident.

Both parents of 13-year-old Nguyen Thi Anh Ngoc and 11-year-old Nguyen Nguyen Ngoc were labourers. They were killed on the road to Hoi An in a collision with a truck. "I don't know who we'll live with now. I just want my parents to wake up," Ngoc said.
The parents were also both orphaned. Their father was raised by a poor woman, who is now 82 years old, and the only relative the mother had was a brother. The provincial Transportation Safety Committee donated money for the funeral, while local authorities and neighbours helped organise the ceremony.

Huynh Thi Thanh, a neighbour, said, "We would like to ask any kind people who can to help so these kids can continue with their schooling."
The chairman of An Son Ward People's Committee said that even with their workers' salaries, Ngoc's parents were struggling, but now things for the children are desperate. He went on to say that they would discuss the children's study after the funeral hopefully collecting some donations.
The workplaces of Ngoc's parents and the school are also holding donation campaigns in order to help the children.
