The number of products in the final round of this year’s awards is the largest in the ten past years.
The groups who created products in the final round will make their presentations November 16-18 in Hanoi. Each group has 45 minutes for their presentations as well as a question period from the jury.
The organising board will present one first prize worth VND100 million, one second prize worth VND50 million and one third prize worth VND 30 million for each group.
The awards aim to honour outstanding Vietnamese collectives and individuals who have made significant accomplishments in the fields of information technology (IT), natural sciences (mathematics, physics, chemistry), earth and life sciences, and environmental protection.
The annual talent awards ceremony was first held in 2005 and was originally designed to encourage and acknowledge Vietnamese talent in the IT industry. The awards were later expanded to include natural sciences in 2009 and environmental protection in 2013.
The award ceremony is going to be held at 8.30pm in Hanoi on November 20.
