This follows a fall in prices on the world market and a request from the Ministry of Finance.

Another petrol price cut
The ministry required petroleum traders to cut the price of gasoline by at least VND669 per litre, diesel by VND878 per litre, kerosene by VND848 per litre and fuel oil by a minimum of VND724 per kilo. However, petrol traders rounded these figures up.
The ministry also requested a cut in the use of the petrol price stabilisation fund by VND200 per litre to only VND100 per litre on all petrol products.
This is the seventh petrol price cut since the beginning of the year. In addition, the ministry has pledged to keep petrol prices unchanged through December.
