Both sides will increase high-level visit exchanges to share development experiences and boost cooperation through the Vietnam-China Steering Committee for Bilateral Cooperation, as well as people-to-people exchanges, primarily for young people.
They agreed to work closely together to maintain peace and stability in the East Sea in line with common perceptions and agreements between the two countries’ top leaders.

The two leaders extended best wishes to Vietnamese and Chinese people in the lead up to the Lunar New Year of the Horse (2014).
