Flower traders from the Mekong Delta have been steering their boats towards various canals in HCM City to display their goods.
Many flower markets will be formed along major canals in HCM City in places such as Binh Dong and Kenh Te. Traders sell their flowers right beside the canal and bring a number of their goods to other markets in the city. According to the traders, the markets will get busy starting December 20, on Lunar Calendar.
Nguyen Van Ly, a trader from Ben Tre Province, said he arrived later than usual because of the weather, but that price of flowers will be about the same as previous years.
