They agreed to increase the sharing of information and experience in combating organised crime, transnational crime, narcotics-related crime, human trafficking, and cyber crime.
Both ministries will intensify cooperation in safeguarding the two countries’ border areas, and staff training.
Ministers Quang and Sengaphone discussed regional and international issues of mutual concern and reviewed the results of the two ministries’ cooperation during 2013.
They credited the ministerial relationship with reinforcing national and social security and consolidating the special ties linking their two countries. Both ministers promised to extend this record of achievement into 2014 and beyond.
