Those who try to visit the Zone 9 entertainment area in Hanoi may be disappointed from December 23, as it will close early.
Costumers stay until last minute
Authorities in Hai Ba Trung District have requested that owners of stores in Zone 9 to stop operations from today, December 23, for safety concerns in the lead up to Christmas and New Year.
Store owners were asked to shut down their shops by December 31, making last night the last opportunity for customers.
Many people were sad at the closure of the zone. “I used to come here with my friends on the weekends. I like this space very much and am really sad it's shutting down,” Hong Minh, a 20-year-old woman said.
The zone was still busy until the clock struck midnight, attracting many people who came to enjoy coffee and their favourite dishes with friends and relatives.
As 12am came, security force arrived and made all stores close.
