Public opinions collected for Hue planning adjustment

The central province of Thua Thien-Hue on August 1 started a month-long collection of public opinions on a project on adjustment of Hue city’s general planning by 2030 with a vision towards 2050.

The 3.5 million USD project, funded by the Government of the Republic of Korea (RoK), has been implemented since July 2011.

It includes designing Hue planning adjustments, making a general planning adjustment plan, training Vietnamese experts and providing necessary equipment for the implementation.

The collection will focus on analysing and assessing the status quo of the city, studying development strategies and premises in similar cities as well as investigating the development of urban space and orientations for the project’s technical infrastructure development.

The opinions collected will serve as a foundation for relevant agencies to make the best planning adjustments for Hue city.
