After the circular on high school graduation exam regulations was issued, it received much public criticism.
Many people said the regulation violated the law on denouncement, which gives people freedom to choose which agencies they file their complaint to at any time.
Under public pressure and the Ministry of Justice's consultancy, MoET admitted their mistakes and amended the regulation on March 1.
The amended regulation states that students should bring any evidences to the central or provincial steering committees for high school graduation exams and that all resulting investigations and other procedures surrounding these cases must comply with the law on denouncement.
The circular will go into effect on April 15.
