Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has approved a project on organizing the 2014 International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO).
The event aims to encourage students to study chemistry well at school.
It will take place in Hanoi from July 20-29 next year with a large number of participants coming from 80 countries (nine from each country).
The Minister of Education and Training will be the head of the national steering committee for the 2014 IChO.
