Vietnam wins 6 medals at World Taekwondo Championships

Vietnamese athletes won four silver and two bronze medals at the 7th World Taekwondo Poomsae Championships.

Vietnamese athletes won four silver and two bronze medals at the 7th World Taekwondo Poomsae Championships held in Tujia , Colombia , from December 6–9.

The silver medals belonged to trio Nguyen Thu Ngan – Chau Tuyet Van – Nguyen Thi Le Kim, couple Le Thanh Trung – Xuan Linh, and Tuyet Mai (woman) and Chau Van (man).

Meanwhile, athletes Nguyen Van Minh (man, U17) and Le Anh Minh (man, U29) pocketed bronze medals.

With 8 gold medals, the Republic of Korean team ranked the first at the competition. It was followed by Spain and the US (two gold medals each).
