
As of October 9, two people had been reported dead or missing, and two others had been injured due to the storm and its aftermath.
The most serious problem now are the landslides on roads in Quang Nam, Quang Ngai and Central Highland provinces, which cut off many areas that still remain isolated.
Local authorities and people are stepping up efforts to overcome the consequences of the storm and stabilize their lives.
The Prime Minister has authorized the Ministry of Finance to provide 4,000 tonnes of rice for Thanh Hoa and Nghe An provinces, which were seriously affected by the recent floods. Thanh Hoa will be allocated 3,000 tonnes and Nghe An will receive 1,000 tonnes.
