The EZ management board said most of them are unskilled workers employed by Chinese investors for the production line 2 of the Cong Thanh Cement Plant since 2012.
The Thanh Hoa provincial People’s Committee has authorized the Nghi Son EZ Management Board, the Public Security Department and the Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs to work with the project managers and Chinese investors on the granting work permits for such workers. If not, those who continue working illegally will be dealt with under Vietnamese law.
