Garment workshop wall falls, killing three workers

Three workers were killed and four others were injured after a wall of Leojin garment company workshop fell down in Ha Nam province on Jun 22.

Three workers were killed and four others were injured after a wall of Leojin garment company workshop fell down in Ha Nam province on Jun 22.
The labour accident happened at around 16.00pm when workers were working in a garment workshop of the Republic of Korea.

Among seven workers pulled out from debris, one died on the spot, four were admitted to the Ha Nam General Hospital in critical condition, and two others were taken to Duy Tien hospital, a nearby district medical centre.

In the evening, two more workers died at the Ha Nam General Hospital, raising the death toll to three.

Initial investigations show that piles of scrolls of cloth behind the wall might have triggered the wall to fall.     
Provincial relevant agencies are supporting the bereaved, clearing the ruins, and investigating the cause of the accident.
