Minh to attend England Badminton Champs

Vietnamese top badminton player Nguyen Tien Minh will compete at the 2012 All England Open Badminton Championships from March 6-13. 

In the first match, he will face world no. 23 Yun Hu from Hong Kong. If Minh wins, he will then meet world no.3 Chen Long.

Earlier, Minh had thrashed Long 2-0 after 41 minutes at the 2012 Badminton World Federation (BWF)’s Thomas Cup in Macau (China).

With a total of 54.304 points Minh is now the world’s no.9 seed.
