The work is scheduled to complete next August, to timely host the Miss Earth 2012 pageant.
Nguyen Cong Khe, Chairman of the Youth Media Group, the co-organizer of the Miss Earth 2012, said that Ninh Thuan authorities have permitted the group to invest in the $10 million theater. This is a multi-purpose work covering 4 hectares, located in the Thap Cham coastal park of Phan Rang city.
The theater can contain up to 2,000 people. It looks like an oyster or a wave. The theater will have a complex of entertainment works, restaurants, shopping malls.
According to the investor, the investment capital will be between $10-15 million. The theater will host large events, such as Charming Vietnam, Miss Vietnam or the International U21 Football Tournament.
According to Global Beauties, Vietnam will host Miss Earth 2012 pageant. The event will be held in Ninh Thuan province next December, attracting contestants from 90 countries.
The province is also chosen to host the Miss Vietnam 2012 pageant which will take place in August.
In 2008, Vietnam hosted Miss Universe pageant in Nha Trang. To serve this event, Hoan Cau company built the Crown Convention Centre at the cost of $9.8 million. This work is considered the largest and most modern theatre in Vietnam. However, after Miss Universe pageant, the 7,500 seat theater has not hosted any big event.
