Though they themselves are still struggling for livelihood, many workers of Pankovina Company in Binh Duong Province are sharing the little they have with the less unfortunate at the Chanh Phu Hoa Social Support Centre.

It was Truong Quoc Bao who first came up with the idea of giving the needy people at the center simple gifts.
“I just want to do something to help,” Bao said.
From Bao, the touching stories about these unfortunate people spread to other workers, including Le Thi Ha.
Moved to tears by a story of an orphan at the center, Ha decided to organize a charity team. Her call was gladly answered.
Since then, these workers have regularly donated part of their modest wages to Ha to buy gifts for the Chanh Phu Hoa inhabitants.
Although the gifts are simple, such as a pack of biscuits or fruits, the center rejoices whenever the team comes.
“They do not bring us just the simple presents,” said Nguyen Duc Thinh, the center’s deputy director. “It’s their golden heart and smiles that is most valuable to us.”
76-year-old Le Thi Nhung, who is living at the center, said she and others always have a good time when the workers came.
“They come here every Sunday,” she said. “Some even bring their children to sing for us.”
Ha said the happiness that the team has created shows that people only need a good heart in order to help.
