Vietnam’s Next Top Model 2011’s qualification heats will be held at Riverside Palace convention center in HCMC on August 16 and at The Garden department store in Hanoi on August 23.

The reality show, which searches for new talent for the modeling industry, is open to girls aged 18-25 who are 1.68 meters tall or above.
In the qualification round, contestants have to take part in categories consisting of a self-choice costume and bikini catwalk, talent, Q&A and photo-shoot.
Those who reach the semi-final round will be instructed by leading local and international fashion experts for more than two months.
The first season of the contest created models, who are now household names like Nguyen Thi Tuyet Lan, runner-up of Vietnam’s Next Top Model 2010, winner of the Asian Model Search 2011 in Singapore in April and first season winner Khieu Thi Huyen Trang, who also won the Best Asia title at Best Model of the World contest in July.
This year Vietnam’s Next Top Model will be screened on VTV3 every Sunday at 8 p.m. from September 25.
