Kate Middleton and Prince William are back on home turf after their 10-day honeymoon in the Seychelles.
The newlyweds spent some time in Anglesey after their wedding on April 29, then just over a week later set off on their £4,000-a-night break (find out more about where they stayed here).
It wasn’t entirely a secluded romantic getaway, however, as they had police protection close at hand throughout (read about that here). They also reportedly spent thousands on ensuring their privacy (more on that here).
St James’s Palace released a statement saying the couple "thoroughly enjoyed their time together, and they are grateful to the Seychelles government for their assistance in making the honeymoon such a memorable and special 10 days".
The Associated Press also quotes the head of the Seychelles tourism board as saying: "They left happy and clearly content with their stay".
The Seychelles High Commissioner to Great Britain, who saw them off on Friday, said: "In a world of so much turmoil they bring a welcome and much needed breath of fresh air with their warmth and humility".
Wills and Kate have their July trip to Canada and California to prepare for now.
