2011 Robocon contest

Lac Hong’s team, LH B7, beat team LLIGATOR from Hanoi University of Industry to win VND40 million (USD1,932) in cash and the national championship in the finale held in Danang City on Sunday night.

LH B7 will thus compete against teams from other Asian countries at the region contest in Thailand this September.

Last year, another Lac Hong team, LH-LED, won the national title and competed in the Asia-wide contest.

Originally launched in Japan in 2002, Robocon is a robot design competition organised annually for undergraduate students throughout Asia by the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Unio to encourage robotic inventions by young people in the region.
