Awards for ‘Outstanding ASEAN Enterprises’ and ‘ASEAN famous brands’ and the Gold Cup for ‘Entrepreneurs with Talent and Heart’ were launched yesterday in Hanoi.
The annual accolades aim to honour outstanding ASEAN business people in order to promote their brand names and improve the quality of their products and services.
Nominees for the awards are entrepreneurs and collectives who have made contributions to the socio-economic development of their localities, industries and the country; taking the lead in technological innovation and producing high-quality products with high level of competitiveness and international integration.
The awards are sponsored by the Vietnam Ministry of Industry and Trade (MIC) and the Ministry of Planning and Investment in co-ordination with Lao’s MIC and Ministry of Information, and together with the Radio Voice of Vietnam and the Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises.
An awards ceremony is scheduled to be held in June this year in the capital of Vientiane, Laos.
