Vietnamese star Nguyen Hoang Thien extended his winning streak at the 2011 Tennis Central 18 & U ITF Summer Championships after he surpassed an Australian in the quarterfinals on Thursday to seal a spot to the last four round.

In Wellington, New Zealand, the fifth seed Thien, 16, beat the 14th Aussie seed Jacob Sullivan 3-6 7-5 6-0 in the quarterfinals, and will face another Aussie Jack Schipanski, the third seed, in the semifinals on Friday.
This is his fourth straight win the at the February 7-12 tournament. He had defeated Pratt Keerasuntonpong 6-3 6-3 and Bradley Mousley of Australia 6-3 6-1 before eliminating the host player Cameron Norrie 6-1 7-6(6) in the third round.
Thien now ranks 241st according to the latest world ranking table released on Monday by the International Tennis Federation.
The other semifinal match will be an all-New Zealand battle between Keisuke Hamilton and Alex Hamilton.
