An art performance was held at Saint-Louis des Invalides cathedral in Paris, France, on November 18 to raise fund for victims of Agent Orange in the Van Canh Friendship Village in Hanoi.
The event included the participation of President of the Committee for Van Canh Friendship Village, Rafae Vahé, and the Vietnamese Ambassador to UNESCO, Van Nghia Dung.
The programme featured Vietnamese revolutionary music and folk songs performed by the Que Huong Vocal Ensemble. The ensemble, established in April 2009, brings together many Vietnamese students and postgraduates who are living and working in France and share a passion for music.
Audiences also enjoyed concertos and symphonies by renowned composers Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach and Errol Girdelstone played by the French Military Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of conductor Francois Boulanger.
