Land FZJ 75 made in 1997, to join RFC 2010

RFC is an annual competition which is held in natural reserves in Malaysia for 4x4 off-road racers from 25 countries. They have to drive vehicles in tropical jungles with a wet climate and muddy, sloping roads.

Under the decision of the General Department of Sports and Physical Training, the Vietnamese largest web forum of 4x4 drivers (www.otofun.net) established a Vietnam Otofun Team to take part in RFC 2010. The team will have two cars, one for racing to be driven by two athletes and the other for technical support to be managed by five people who are members of off-road car clubs.

Participation is expected to develop the Vietnamese off-road car racing sport following the success of the Vietnam Offroad Cup 2010 held in September.

The team is receiving strong support from nearly 100,000 members of the two Vietnamese auto forums of otofun.net and xehoivietnam.com.

The Vietnamese side is upgrading the cars in line with RFC’s requirements before entering the race which will take place from December 4 to 13 in a natural reserves in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
