Vietnamese police are searching for 20 passengers believed to be missing after flooding swept their bus away.
The bus had been traveling along Vietnam\'s main national highway at 3:00 a.m on October 18.

Police from Nghi Xuan District in central Ha Tinh Province say 17 passengers have already been rescued and are receiving treatment at hospitals in Nghi Xuan District and Vinh City. May of them still get into a state of panic and sorrow when their relatives are still missing.
Passengers who were saved from the danger said the bus was carrying about 40 passengers. The strong water current started coming inside the coach and swept the bus away towards the direction of Lam River.
At that time, a number of people saw the bus leaning and broke the glass windows to escape. A few moment later, the bus was totally submerged.
Until 16:30 this afternoon, the rescue team was unable to find 20 missing people and the coach. The rescue work faced difficulties due to rising water level at Lam River with whirl pools.
Vietnam Television reported that the deadly flood killed 31 people in central Vietnam, left 12 people missing and put 251 regional communes underwater.
