The artists, five Vietnamese (Ha Dinh Huy, Truong Thi Thu Ha, Bui Thi Phuong Nhung, Do Ba Duyet and Le Hai Phuong) and five Danish (Nicolai Abrahamsen-guitar, Michael Moller-singer, Tav Klitgaard- trumpet, Jeppe Skjold - clarinet, saxophone and Jakob Millung- drums), will perform 12 compositions, 9 of them newly composed, by Danish musicians Nicolai Abrahamsen and Michael Moller.
During the concert, Danish artists will play Western musical instruments while Vietnamese artists will play a zither with 36 bass strings, monochord, a 16-chord zither and percussion.
Michael Moller, who is also a lead singer, said that most compositions got inspiration from a collection of poems by President Ho Chi Minh in the Danish language and the novel “Sorrow of the War” by writer Bao Ninh in English.
