NA Standing Committee to open its 34th session in Hanoi

The National Assembly Standing Committee's 34th session is to supervise the implementation of legal policies on Vietnam workers contracted to work abroad.

The National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee will open its 34th session in Hanoi on September 13 to supervise the implementation of legal policies on Vietnam workers contracted to work abroad.

The committee will give opinions on the State budget allocation for 2011-2015 and draft resolutions on exemptions and reductions in the use of agricultural land for the 2011-2020 period.

NA deputies will also hear a report on preparations for the 31st ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA-31).

A number of laws will be discussed at this session, including laws on denunciation, the capital city, human trafficking control and supplements and amendments to articles of the Securities Law, the Law on Criminal Procedure and the Laws on NA and People’s Committee elections.
