State President Nguyen Minh Triet today hosted receptions given to the Chief Judge of the Supreme People’s Court of Laos Khammy Sayavong and the Deputy Chief Judge of the Supreme Court of Cambodia Khim Ponn who are on working visits to Vietnam.

During the meetings, State President Nguyen Minh Triet applauded effective cooperation between judicial bodies of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia over the past years, asking them to put forth new orientations for future cooperation.
He stated that Vietnam is ready to assist the two neighbors in their cause of national development.
Both the guests showed their admiration to Vietnam’s renovation and development achievements.
They took the occasion to thank the Vietnamese judiciary sector for sharing experience of judgment, judicial management and reform, and human resource training.
The committed to closer coordination with Vietnam in facilitating the development of each country’s judiciary sector.
