43 streets and public places in Hanoi renamed

The Hanoi municipal People’s Committee has issued a decision on naming and renaming a number of streets and public places in the capital city.

The Hanoi municipal People’s Committee has issued a decision on naming and renaming a number of streets and public places in the capital city.

Accordingly, 29 streets have new names, including the newly-built roads such as Duy Tan, Do Quang, Vu Pham Ham, Nguyen Xien, Phu Ha and Bui Xuan Phai.

In particular, Lang Hoa Lac street has been renamed as Thang Long road with Pham Hung – Khuat Duy Tien – Tran Duy Hung streets running through the districts of Tu Liem, Hoai Duc, Quoc Oai and Thach That to national highway 21A (km 31+ 64, the starting point of Ho Chi Minh road).
Four new construction sites were also named as Thanh Tri Bridge, Vinh Tuy Bridge, Hoa Binh (Peace) Park and Hanoi Museum.
