The Thai government guaranteed to ensure safety for their tourists despite their current unstable political situation.
Despite the promises, Vietravel tourism agency has announced that all tours to Thailand from March 14 to 20 will be cancelled to ensure the complete safety of Vietnamese tourists.
Minh Man, a representative of Vietravel said, “Despite the fact that the Thai government and Thai tourism authority have promised to ensure all normal activities will take place as usual and guaranteed to ensure the safety of tourists, you never know what could happen. That’s the reason why we decided to cancel our Thailand tours. The safety of our clients is our priority.”
“In the next few weeks, if a customer wants to hold their tour or change to another tour, we will readily provide them with information on other travel destinations that offer similar cultural experiences to Thailand. In the case where a customer wants to cancel their tour, we will do a complete refund, and for their next booking, discount USD 5,” added Man.
It is reported that if the political situation is stabilised, Vietravel will resume all tours.
