All hotel rooms along the Han River are already overbooked during the international fireworks festival this month in Da Nang.

Riding on this opportunity, tourism companies launched many interesting tours to help tourists watch the fireworks performance and visit Da Nang as well as neighbouring provinces.
According to tourism companies, at this moment there are many tours to Da Nang. Most tourists are from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
Cao Tri Dung, Vice Manager of Vitours said, “There are currently 500 bookings but we are expecting to receive 1,000 people for this tour.”
“There are about 700 tourists who want to enjoy the fireworks competition. It’s possible that number will go up to 1,000 people,” said Bao Duy Linh, Vice Manager of Viettravel’s Da Nang branch.
The Division of Tourism under Da Nang’s Department of Culture – Sport & Tourism, estimates that there will be 70,000 visitors during the two-night event, of those, about 25,000-30,000 will be tourists.
According to the division, there are 170 hotels with 5,000 rooms and 142 guest houses and homestays with 1,109 rooms in Da Nang. There are 76 hotels with 3,200 rooms in Hoi An and there are 20 hotels with 500 rooms in Lang Co.
Currently there are rooms available at some small hotels which are located far away from the city’s centre. However, travelling agencies don’t want to choose them because they are concerned about service quality which may negatively effect their tour quality.
The temporary stadium built to watch the fireworks festival will be divided into 2 areas, the first will hold 10,000 guests invited by the city, and the second will seat 15,000 at a ticket price of VND 200,000 per person.The ticket issuance date is from March 5 to 25.
