Flower walk opened on Danang beach
Son Tra Peninsula and Danang Tourism Beach Management Board launched a flower walk along a local beach on Friday afternoon, the first of its kind in the city.
"We employed installation art and lighting technologies in the decorations," he said. "It took us over a month to complete it with an investment of over VND4 billion."
A highlight of the walk is the Wind Garden in which many kinds of flowers made from stainless steel can spin in the wind along the beach.
The opening event attracted many visitors.

The two-kilometre flower walk runs from Vo Van Kiet - Vo Nguyen Giap junction to Sao Bien Beach and has 13 spots featuring flower decoration.
Head of the Son Tra Peninsula and Danang Tourism Beaches Management Board, Nguyen Duc Vu, said that the project was inspired by the diversity of local sea creatures and tropical flowers.
"We employed installation art and lighting technologies in the decorations," he said. "It took us over a month to complete it with an investment of over VND4 billion."
Many kinds of decorative items featuring Danang sea creatures and fishing activities were put along the walk besides the colourful flowers. Recycled materials including used bikes, fishing nets and boats have been used for the decoration.
