Petroleum prices rise again in Thursday adjustment

Prices of petroleum products increased again from 3 pm today, September 21, following the adjustment by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance,

Under the decision by the two ministries, the retail prices of E5 RON 92 and RON 95 rose by VND720 and VND870 to VND24,190 and VND25,740 respectively.

Kerosene increased to VND23,180 and diesel grew to VND23,590 per litre.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance, the higher petroleum prices in Vietnam were based on global petroleum price rises.

The fuel price hike was made again after prices were kept unchanged in the last adjustment on September 11. So far seven price hikes have been made in eight latest adjustments by the two ministries.
