Petrol prices rise again after three consecutive falls

Domestic retail petroleum prices rose at 3 pm today, November 7, following a decision by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance.

The price of biofuel E5 RON92 increased slightly by VND340 per litre to VND19,740 per litre, while RON95 up by VND350 per litre to VND20,850 per litre.

Meanwhile, diesel prices rose sharply by VND770 per litre to VND18,910 per litre, kerosene up by VND460 per litre to VND19,290 per litre, while mazut prices down by VND70 per kilo to VND16,390 per kilo.

The two ministries decided not to use the petrol price stabilisation fund this time.

Petrol prices have increased again after three consecutive falls. However, these rates are still the lowest in over three years.

Since early this year, petrol prices have increased 21 times and decreased 23 times, while diesel prices have risen 20 times and dropped 23 times.
